Capabilities / Quality Assurance

Quality begins with a clear specification.

Quality is measured against what has been agreed: your product brief, the approved sample, and the tolerances set before production.

02Review stages

When quality is reviewed.

  1. 01

    Material checks

Fabric and trims compared with approved references before cutting.

  2. 02

    Sample approval

The approved sample sets the standard for appearance and measurements.

  3. 03

    In-process review

Early pieces from the line are checked so issues are found before bulk.

  4. 04

    Final inspection

Finished, packed garments are inspected against the agreed criteria.

  5. 05

    Pre-dispatch review

Cartons, labelling, and documents are checked before shipment.

03Testing

Testing depends on the product and the market.

The tests a garment needs depend on its material, its use, your specification, and the rules of the destination market. Please list your testing requirements in the brief, including any nominated laboratory.

Topics that buyers commonly specify include dimensional stability after washing, colourfastness, pilling, and seam performance. Whether a test is carried out, and by whom, is agreed per programme.

04Discrepancies

When something does not match.

  1. 01

    Identify

The issue is described with photographs and quantities affected.

  2. 02

    Communicate

The buyer is informed promptly, with the options available.

  3. 03

    Agree corrective action

Rework, replacement, or acceptance is agreed in writing.

  4. 04

    Record

The resolution is recorded so it informs future orders.
